The holidays are a perfect time to get your little kitchen helpers into the kitchen! As a child, one of my clearest memories is helping my mom in the kitchen. I would sit on the counter and help her stir and mix whatever goodies she happened to be making. It was an integral part of my childhood, and I cherish that time spent with my mom in the kitchen. As a mother myself, I want to provide my children the same experience. My girls are always hanging out with me in the kitchen and (most of the time) I love involving them in baking and cooking with age-appropriate tasks. Rice Krispies are without a doubt, a childhood staple! These are some of the cutest I’ve ever seen! My little baker helps with mixing the Rice Krispie mixture as well as putting the eyes a and nose on. She is also able to pop the stick on!

After a long day of playing in the snow, there is nothing better than a big GREEN cup of hot cocoa!
