Hi there! If you couldn’t tell, I’m really into creating fun and functional printables to help you turn the struggles of motherhood into a more enjoyable and organized experience! It’s the little things, right? I know not everyone is tech-savy; there’s been times where even I’ve been confused when printing something, so I wanted to share some tips for printing printables so you don’t have any issues.
Tips for Printing Printables
- I create all of my printables in a .pdf format. These are super easy files to work with and can be opened with Adobe Reader. If you don’t have that, it’s free to download here🙂
- Open the .pdf in Adobe Reader. Once the file is open, go to File => Print. Choose your printer from the drop-down menu at the top of the print window.
- Depending on your printer, there might be extra settings under a “properties” tab. Click it and choose the correct size and paper type.
- Once you do that, you’ll be back to the print window. Under Page Size and Handling, choose “actual size”. If the artwork doesn’t fit on the page you can select the “fit” option. (Most of my printables are designed to print on an 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of paper.)
- Click print and enjoy your printable!
My Go- To Items for Printing Printables

Laminator Perfect if you’d like to save paper! Print once and laminate the printable to use over and over!)
Dry Erase Markers If you choose to laminate your printables, you’ll need some colorful markers to use with them.
Full Sticker Sheets These come in super handy if you are printing something like my super cute monthly baby tracking stickers.
Streamline Your Life with Printables
I’ve found that using printables streamlines little bits and pieces of my otherwise chaotic life, and I’m confident they will do the same for you! Some of my most popular printables include this nursing tracker, this grocery list + meal planner and this toddler toothbrushing chart.
